Active citizenship and civic participation are vital for building an equitable and resilient society. The EMERGE envisions putting forward a comprehensive framework to strengthen civil society and promote civic participation.

On the platform, you can access both the Citizen Empowerment Course and the Capacity Building Training course for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). The aim of the Citizen Empowerment Course is to deepen participants’ understanding of key societal issues, current realities, and challenges. It emphasises the importance of civic engagement and the role of civil society organisations in influencing public processes and defending citizens’ rights and viewpoints. The Capacity Building Training course for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) is committed to enhancing the capacities and sustainability of CSOs, supporting and empowering these organisations.
